Since the 1990s, the Oyster Environmental team has managed composting operations with a focus on keeping materials working locally. Today, we operate Nantucket’s leaf and yard composting program using 100% island-generated landscaping waste that is collected, processed, and safely returned to Nantucket’s landscapes.
