Ingredients

Nantucket Gold Compost

Existing native soil (or clean loam if no soil is present)

OMRI-listed organic vegetable fertilizer (≈ 4-4-4 or 5-5-5)

Water

Directions

Spread 1–2 inches of Nantucket Gold Compost evenly over the bed.

Lightly work into the top 2–3 inches of soil or leave as a top dressing.

Apply organic vegetable fertilizer at the label rate.

Water deeply.

Timing

Spring: full refresh

Mid-season: ½–1 inch boost

Fall: rebuild soil for next year

Compost restores organic matter lost over time and improves moisture retention in sandy soils. Fertilizer supplies nutrients vegetables need during active growth.
